The Last Tudor by Philippa Gregory
“I love my father because I know that he will never die. Neither will I. We are chosen by God and we walk in His ways, and we never swerve from them.”
My Thought:
Those words were spoken by the Lady Jane Grey before she was crowned Queen of England. The story is from the perspective of Jane Grey and her two sisters, Katherine and Mary. I knew of the tragic life of Jane; but, I am totally ignorant of the two sisters. I’m half way through it and I’m really enjoying it. It’s so sad that an entire family can be wiped out by a jealous queen (Mary and Elizabeth I).
